Matthew Huo is a PGA Class A golf professional at Goose Creek Golf Club. He competed in Division I golf at UC Riverside and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics. He continued his competitive golf and educational journeys at Peking University in Beijing, China, where he graduated with a Master’s degree in International Studies.

Matthew is a dedicated golf instructor whose coaching philosophy centers on a deep understanding of each student’s individual goals. He emphasizes the importance of cultivating a strong, supportive relationship, allowing for tailored instruction that enhances both skill development and personal growth in the sport. Matthew adapts his teaching methods to various learning styles, making him an excellent choice for golfers of all levels, from beginners to competitive players. Goose Creek Junior Golf Tournament 2025 #1

About the Event

Saturday, Aug 30th, 2025, 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Goose Creek Golf Club: 11418 68th St, Mira Loma, CA 91752, USA

Entry Fee: $70.00 per player

Divisions

Boys Age 14 and up: II Tees

Girls Age 14 and up: I Tees

Boys Age 10-13 : I Tees

Girls Age 10-13: I Tees

Boys and Girls Age 7-9: Cone Tees

Divisions and Tee Markers may change depending on the number of participants

Format

Stroke Play / 9 Holes / 6 hole for 9 years old and under

First tee time starts around 4:00pm

Double par +1 rule is in effect where players must pick up and move to the next hole once they reach the max score.

Example; (7) on a par 3, (9) on a par 4, (11) on a par 5.

Terms and Conditions

I acknowledge and accept the potential risk of injuries that can result from playing golf and its related activities. I hereby release and discharge the members that organized the tournament, the golf facilities utilized or the tournament, tour sponsors, and all of the collective employees, agents, staff, directors, contractors, and members from all liabilities, claims, actions, or causes of action to the child and myself which may arise from the participation in the junior golf tour/class and other related activities.

In an event my child is in need for medical attention or treatment, I hereby authorize the staff of the junior tour/class to make the best decision in the best interest and welfare of the child if I am unavailable or unable to provide consent in person or by phone.

I also acknowledge that the parties listed above are not responsible for any damage, lost, or stolen to personal properties.

Lastly, I also give consent to the staff of the junior golf tour/class to video or photograph my child and to use the forms of media in promotion of the tour.

I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and accept the terms contained. I agree to participate and conduct according to the rules of the tour and the etiquette of golf according to the rules of USGA. I understand that the participation of the tour may be terminated if the golfer fails to abide by the rules of the tour/class and the host golf course or fails to abide by the instructions of the tournament officials.
